Injuries to soft tissues, which include the tongue, cheeks, gums and lips can result in bleeding and swelling. Contact us as soon as possible and book in your emergency appointment.
To control bleeding, apply slight pressure with gauze or a clean cloth to the area until the bleeding stops.
For swelling, use a cold compress on the outside of the impacted area.
